Size & Fit

Find your preferred fit

Choosing a kurta, pajama, or waistcoat starts with understanding how you like your clothing to fit. Check the size options and any measurements on the individual product page before ordering. A size label alone does not guarantee the same fit across different styles.

How to take body measurements

Use a flexible measuring tape, keep it level, and stand naturally. The tape should sit comfortably against your body without being pulled tight. Ask someone to help where possible.

  • Chest: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape under your arms.
  • Waist: Measure around the point where you intend the pajama waistband to sit.
  • Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Compare with a garment you own

Lay a similar, well-fitting garment flat without stretching it. For a kurta or waistcoat, note its chest width, shoulder width, and length. For pajamas, note the waistband width and length. Compare these only with measurements taken in the same way.

Body measurements and flat garment measurements are different. A flat chest width, for example, is not the same as a full chest circumference. Check which measurement type is provided before comparing.

Choosing a kurta or waistcoat

Allow comfortable movement through the shoulders and chest. When choosing a waistcoat, consider the kurta or other layer you plan to wear underneath. Check the product description for any style-specific fit information.

Choosing pajamas

Consider both the waistband fit and your preferred length. Check the product details for information about the waistband and available sizing rather than assuming that every style has the same fit.
